Sonography is the latest modern technology techniques in the medical field consisting sonography equipments which are taught to operate at sonography schooling levels. Sonography, also known as ultrasound, is a medical procedure in modern technology which uses echo reflection of sound to create images of organs inside the body. The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) offers its credits to pass out students. Sonography schooling students are left with options such as Registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS), registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer (RDCS) and Registered vascular technologist (RVT) to get these credentials.
According to US Labor statistics, sonographers with 1-4 years experience earns around $23.76 per hour and those who range from 5-9 years of experience earn $29.19 per hour. The bureau also calculated that almost 60% of sonographers were employed by public and private hospitals and rest 40% were working in clinics, physician offices and in healthcare facilities.
